Active for 35+ yearsCAVA, Chicago Archdiocesan Vocation Association, is a ministry sponsored by the Chicago Archdiocesan Office for Religious. We are an association of 90+ Roman Catholic Religious Sisters, Brothers, Priests, Consecrated Laity and others who are active and supportive of vocation ministry.
Members of CAVA belong to or avidly support religious congregations, secular institutes and lay ecclesial movements serving the People of God in the Archdiocese of Chicago. CAVA’s purpose is to nurture a Culture of Vocations within the Catholic Church. Our twofold purpose is to promote general vocation awareness and to invite young men and women to discern a vocation to consecrated life.
CAVA’s standing committees organize a myriad of events including evenings of discernment, campus retreats, vocation panel presentations, vocation fairs for elementary and high schools and parishes and so much more!!
The five committees are:
-Campus Ministry/Young Adult Committee -CAVA Latina Committee -Education Committee (Click Here for an Education Committee Program Brochure) -Parish Vocation Awareness Committee -Website/Social Media Committee
