The CAVA Committees exist to meet ongoing needs of vocation ministry, namely, that of education and raising awareness. The committees are composed of members of CAVA who have an interest in the work of the committee and a desire to assist with its planning and outreach. There is no set maximum number of participants; any CAVA member is welcome. Ordinarily, the committees meet several times a year. The standing committees of CAVA are:

4. Education Committee
This committee offers programs in elementary schools, high schools, and religious education programs. These could be classroom presentations, panels, roundtable discussions, vocation fairs, parent presentations, retreats for faculties or in-services about vocations for faculties/teachers, or catechists. This is a good committee for those who may be part time, are free for part of the day or in the evening or on weekends for religious education classes. This group meets at least four times per year as a whole, and then in subcommittees. We ask that each member on this committee expect to commit to at least two school presentations during the coming year.
