Dominican Sisters of Springfield

Any woman who would like to experience prayer with the sisters is welcome to join the
Dominican Sisters of Springfield at Marian Convent in Chicago Heights, IL. You are invited to
join us in any of our common prayer times listed here. We have common contemplation on
Tuesdays at 4:40 p.m. and common rosary on Wednesday at 4:40 p.m., followed by Evening
Prayer and dinner. On Mondays, we have Mass at 4:30 p.m., followed by Evening Prayer and
dinner. If transportation is a problem, Metra is an option. To schedule a day and time please

Cenacle Sisters

The Sisters in our Convent and Retreat Center in Chicago, IL would be delighted to welcome
women who are searching to understand how God is calling them into deeper relationship. In
order to discern if religious life is a possibility it’s important to experience the prayer, community
life and ministry of sisters. We welcome women to come for a visit, a meal, prayer -- for one

Sisters of the Living Word

Our Community began in 1975 and our Center is in Arlington Heights, Illinois. We are called to

Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (BVM)

The BVM sisters invite you to come to our Motherhouse on the bluffs of the Mississippi
in Dubuque, Iowa. If you’re interested in experiencing religious life first hand, having some quiet
to pray, and talking to women who have lived loving and generous lives then this opporutnity is

Franciscan Sisters – Frankfort, IL

Young adult women are welcome to drop by and visit St. Francis Woods, our motherhouse
campus. We have several spots conducive to prayer and meditation including an outdoor
labyrinth and stations of the cross. If you wish to join us in prayer, the Sisters pray at 7:30 am
followed by Mass, and at 4:45 pm. We also have weekly Holy Hour for vocations from 4:00 to
5:00 pm on Wednesdays and Every first Friday of the month also from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Contact

Six Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill live and share their cultural diversities at Seton House
International here in Chicago at 4933 W. Patterson Ave. It’s the convent building at St.

High school age young women are invited to a weekend at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods that includes an evening of fireside story-telling with the sisters, tour of the motherhouse grounds and information about our foundress, Saint Mother Theodore Guerin. You’ll also visit White Violet Center for Eco-Justice and Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.
